Our programmes are delivered over several training blocks to help you integrate your new skills.
And for those of you that consider skill proficiency and application to be more important than getting your well earnt certificate, you will have the opportunity of benefiting from a range of extended post training support in the form of study groups, practise groups and even 'supervision for Professional NLP Practitioners'. Why do you offer 10 days training when some offer 5 days and others 20 days. Simply that NLP is such a vast and growing field that I believe (from experience) can't be learnt in 5 days and that many can't afford the time commitment / cost of 20 days. We spread the 10 days over a minimum of three training blocks which allows time for you to experiment, reflect and integrate all that you have learnt. This approach also helps to accelerate your learning of the next stage.
Why do you offer a choice of 8 and 10 days Practitioner training. We like to give people choice and want to accommodate the many people requesting shorter or even more affordable quality courses. In response to this we have offered a shorter eight day course supplemented by pre-course recommended reading / study materials. We have gained time (on the 8 day programme) through both this and the deletion of the modeling project. Should participants want to do the eight day course and the modeling project, you can still do this through an extra cost modeling project module. Regardless of which programme you choose, you are guaranteed a fantastic learning experience and NLP Practitioner competencies you will be proud of.
How do you deliver all this at such a competitive price? Simple, I minimise my overheads through delivering quality training in cost effective training venues. Secondly, I train NLP because I get enormous pleasure from facilitating learning and the exploration of possibilities within other people. Thirdly, having established Kochin within the community / voluntary sector we wish to increase our profile through making NLP training affordable to more people, whilst simultaneously enhancing our reputation as a "Centre of excellence" for NLP and associated skills in Birmingham.
What will I get? Authentic high quality NLP training delivered in clean, frill free training premises close to Birmingham City Centre. Free parking available to all, plus some off road parking for early arrival's (subject to venue). We are registered and committed to meeting / exceeding ANLP professional quality standards.
How do I pay? Kochin accepts a £100 booking deposit and the balance four weeks before the start of training. Bookings can be done via secure on-line server, direct bank transfer, or a cheque in the post. Click here for details. Alternately we offer a Pay - As - You - Go facility based on a £100 non-refundable booking deposit , followed equal payments one week before each training block. Similar arrangements are also available for our "Master Practitioner" programme.
What happens if I can't make one of the dates? Simple. Just join us for the relevant modules on the following course, "free of charge".
How does certification work? We provide clear evaluation criteria at the outset of training and support you to incrementally develop your skills as we work through the syllabus. We also provide you with feedback on an ongoing process, and this is supported by your completion and regular submission of your own reflective learning log between weekends. (Note that certification is subject to course attendance / satisfactory completion).
Kochin also provides you with an opportunity to complete a short modeling project (Modeling lies at the heart of NLP and involves the observation and mapping of how people do things extraordinarily well in order that it can be replicated by yourself or someone else) as part of your development / evaluation (10 day+ courses only). Evaluation is therefore a mix of completed reflective learning journals, observation, and a short multi choice questionnaire towards the latter part of the programme.
Who recognises Kochin NLP Training? Kochin is a registered trainer with the Association of NLP (ANLP). ANLP is the only established independent organisation with an established public reputation for promoting standards, professionalism and good practice in NLP. Kochin is a trainer member of the ANLP and is signed up to the ANLP trainer code of ethics. Kochin certification will enable you to apply to join the ANLP as a practitioner member.
Kochin / Richard Pearce was awarded the Neuro-Linguistic Programming Trainer License by John Seymour Associates and has been signed by John Seymour (Senior Director of Public Training) and Margot McCleary (Director of Public Training). John Seymour is one of the longest established NLP trainers in the UK and author of several highly regarded publications. Richard is one of only a handful of trainers to be awarded an A Grade accreditation by John Seymour.
Richard works in partnership with Leeds based Mark Thompson (NLP Trainer). Mark is registered with the International NLP Trainers Association (INLPTA), in addition to being accredited by John Seymour.
Is accreditation guaranteed? Whilst Kochin is committed to enabling it's students to succeed, it takes accreditation very seriously. In the unlikely event of a participant having not "yet" reached the required standard by the end of the programme, they will be given a provisional certificate with clear and specific information detailing the remaining skill development. They would be invited back to participate in selected sessions on the following training. Reassessment will be informal. There would be no additional cost. Please note that this is highly unlikely. Kochin takes great pride in providing ongoing quality feedback to participants throughout the training and this minimises the possibility of provisional certificates.
