Indeed, the training starts with an exploration of what are know are the "operating beliefs of NLP" (Presuppositions of NLP). We will explore the relationship between words, thoughts, actions and results. Modelling lies at the heart of NLP and is something we honour by providing you with the chance to prepare and complete a modelling project. Regrettably this is something that few companies offer. To put the importance of modelling into context, NLP and the tools / processes that are known as NLP are the consequence of modelling. Simplistically, modelling is the study and analysis of how we do what we do in order that it can be replicated. Put it another way. Just imagine having the skills to be able to replicate any outstanding skill thats is achieved by another person. That is what modelling is all about. We provide practical and theoretical training in modelling, and support you to complete the project of your choice. By completion of weekend three you will have absorbed enough learning and information to enable you to start on your modelling project.
For all the theoretical knowledge and understanding that constitutes the field of NLP, the real skill lies in the application of knowledge. We will cover motivation in the form of the Meta Programs, the brilliance of Robert Dilts Neuro-Logical levels, representational systems, eye accessing cues and state management through the skills of associating one thing with another which in NLP we know as anchoring. You will discover that anchors are natural occurring triggers that influence an unconscious response / change of state, like the smell of coffee, freshly baked bread or the sight of someone you either love, or dislike. Throughout the training we are always just a phone call / email away and that is something we frequently remind people of through the training. Following the award ceremony we conclude our programme with a discussion of how best to continue your personal journey into the field of NLP and start the process of deeply embedding learning to the point of unconscious competence.
Beyond the programme we offer NLP practice groups, study groups, on-line forums and discounts off further training. We also offer participants the opportunity to re-participate in any training day where they would like to gain deeper learning (FOC), in addition to perhaps one of the most valuable methods of embedding learning.
